My Best Memories of 2017

My Best Memories of 2017

How are we already in the first few days of 2018!! 2017 had been crazy!! So much happened in my life. If you told me this time last year that this would be my life today, I wouldn’t have believed you. I’m normally excited about going into a New Year, but this year I’m kinda nervous. I’ve had a great 2017 and I want 2018 to be the same!! Also I turn 18 in just over two months. I’m excited, but I don’t feel ready to be classed as an adult. I’m still a big kid at heart.

In 2017, I’ve been lucky enough to make some amazing memories. I wouldn’t have been able to make most of them if it wasn’t for my friends and family, so I owe a massive thank you to all of them. I thought the best way to start 2018 would be to share these memories with you guys!!

I went to Brighton for the first time in 2017. It’s such a beautiful place, everyone seems so friendly and I loved being beside the seaside. I visited the Sea Life Centre, and went on the pier. I recommend visiting Brighton if you haven’t before. I’m hoping to spend a weekend in Brighton for my 18th birthday.

In July, I went to Jack Maynard’s Milli Party, it was honestly the best experience of my life. The atmosphere was amazing, the guest performers were amazing, and Jack was amazing. I was able to meet him, and he was lovely. Probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I would do anything to be able to relive that evening again.

In September, I went to Joe Sugg’s book signing. Joe was one of the first youtubers I watched, so meeting him was such a surreal moment for me. He was lovely, and I was able to speak to him for a few minutes. In those few minutes I forgot everything, it honestly felt like I was dreaming the whole thing. I have to keep looking at the pictures to remind myself it was real and not a dream.

I started my blog last year, and I absolutely love it. I love having the freedom of being able to write about what I want, and being able to share a hobby with loads of other people. I’ve wanted to start one for some time, however, I have always been bad with managing time, so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to upload regularly. The blogging community is full of helpful and kind people.

I went on holiday in July, and I was lucky enough to see Busted live at Festival Too in King’s Lynn. It was an amazing evening, and all the other singers were great too. The atmosphere was incredible, you could tell everyone was having a great night. I loved listening to their music when I was younger, so hearing some of their older songs brought back some childhood memories.

In August I took the risk of changing my college course. I was meant to be doing a 2 year course, however, the course made me unhappy, and I honestly don’t think I would have been able to last another year. I’m glad I made the choice to change, however I do miss my mates.  I feel a lot happier and I’m a lot more excited for my future.

What were some of your favourite moments in 2017?

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas!!!
