Primark & Superdrug Beauty Haul

Recently I popped into town to get my mum a birthday card, however, I couldn’t help myself but pop into Primark and Superdrug. I wasn’t looking for anything specific, but I picked up a few things I was running low on and a few things I wanted to try! I did want to pick up one of the new Makeup Revolution Concealers after seeing so many amazing reviews, however, I couldn’t see the product in the shop so I’m going to order one online!!

Collection Bronze Glow- 1 Sunkissed  £4.19

A few weeks ago I was looking through my makeup draws, and I realised I didn’t have a bronzer. While in Superdrug, I was drawn to the collection bronze glow. I love that it has a slight shimmer which will help to make my skin glow. I also love the colour of the product. I swatched the product while I was in the shop, and the pigmentation doesn’t seem too bad considering the price.

Revlon Colourstay 24 hr wear foundation – 150 Buff  £12.99

I brought the combination/oily version of this foundation last year in the colour 110. I loved the foundation it provided an amazing coverage, lasted well and felt amazing on my skin. I went to use the foundation a few weeks ago, however, it was too light for my skin. I’ve finally managed to tan slightly!! When I saw it in the shop I immediately went over and picked one up in the correct shade. I decided to go for the Normal/Dry version as my skin has been pretty dry recently. I think this foundation is great value for money!!

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer  £12.99

When it comes to primers I’m not very experimental. I’ve stuck with the Rimmel Fix and Perfect primer for about 6 months, because it just feels amazing on my skin and helps to smooth out my pores. However, I thought it’s about time I tried a new primer. I saw this primer while I was picking up the foundation, and I couldn’t help but pick it up. I’m excited to try it and see if it’s as good as the foundation.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – 1 Fair  £4.19

I love this concealer, it’s up there with my all time favourites. The coverage is amazing for the price, and it also feels great on the skin. I’ve been using this product for about a year, and I always go back to buy more. I also have shade 2 and 3 in my makeup draw for the summer months. If you haven’t tried this concealer before I definitely recommend you trying it!!

Lynx Bodywash Excite, Dove Pro-age Shampoo, Alberto Balsam Sunkissed Raspberry Conditioner  £3.00

Whilst in town, I also decided to visit Poundworld. In March I’m going away for a few days for my birthday, so I wanted to pick up some travel sized shampoo, conditioner and shower gel bottles. However, the shop didn’t have travel sized bottles so I picked up the normal sizes. I didn’t spend much on the products so it doesn’t matter as much if I loose them, or forget them and leave them behind in the hotel. I’ll definitely buy the conditioner again if it works well, as it smells amazing.

PS Get Lippy Gloss Collection – Peanut Butter  £3.00

I very rarely wear lip products, it’s not something I buy often. I find wearing lip products ends up being a lot of effort – having to reapply during the day and it transferring. However, I saw this product in Primark and I felt like I had to get it. I love the colour, and I’ve heard amazing things about the beauty products in Primark. Considering the price of the product, I would have been silly not to get it and try it out!!

PS Nails with Adhesive- Round French & Squareletto Matte Cashmere  £1.00 each

I’m currently trying to get over the bad habit of nail biting. It’s something I’ve been doing for years, and I’m struggling to stop. When I’m wearing false nails I’m unable to bit my nails, I’m hoping if I wear false nails for long enough I will break out my habit. I picked up these nails as they are quick and easy to apply. I also love the matte colour on the cashmere nails.

PS Pro Blending Brush  £2.00 normally £4.00

I feel there was a big hype over these brushes during a part of last year, however, I never brought the brushes. I didn’t really see the point of them, I wanted to keep using brushes. Before I went shopping one of my mates told me I need to get this brush, apparently it’s amazing. When I saw it was on offer I thought I might as well try it. The brush feels like it’s good quality, and I’m excited to see what difference it’ll make to my makeup.

PS Super Food beauty – Detox Face Mask Masque  £1.50

I picked up this product while I was waiting in the line at the checkout. I thought I’d be nice to have a little pamper session when I go away for my birthday. I’ve never tried face masks from Primark before, however, I’m excited to try it. There were a range of different masks, but I got drawn to the Detox mask because of the packaging. The detox mask contains Kale and Goji Berry.

Please let me know if you’d like me to write a review on any of the products!
